Project Description
Students travel to Santa Fe, New Mexico during the spring semester each academic year to work in the office of one of the Legislative officials. They are permitted to attend roundhouse meetings and observe how policy is discussed, rejected, or enacted.

Provides experience and hands-on engagement for students in the annual New Mexico Legislative session. Students learn how policy is enacted and gain academic credit.
 
Eligibility
Prior permission of instructor, gained at least one month prior to end of fall semester for intership in spring semester.
