Project Description
Information Technology Services' (ITS) role to Internet to the Hogan, Senator Tsosie's initiative, is to provide IT consultation services to the Navajo Nation's educational community regarding information technology. The results is to give consultation services to a segment of New Mexico's underserved, underrepresented population and provide this population with access to the knowledge capital that exists within UNM's IT infrastructure.


Information Technology Services will provide IT facility, fiscal and technical consultation to the Navajo Nation eduational community.This project was developed to enhance the information technology needs that exist within an underserved, underrepresented group and allow this group access to knowledge capital that exists within this academic institution regarding information technology. In addition, this public bridging will enhance the lives of this population by opening further lines of communication regarding this New Mexico community and academia.
