Project Description
Socorro and Torrance counties approached the Valencia Campus in the early 1990's to bring academic programs to their communities. Classes have been offered in the communities of Socorro, the Alamo Navajo Reservation, Magdalena, Mountainair, Estancia and Moriarty.

UNM- Valencia Campus offers course work required in vocational/technical and academic areas which can, 1) lead to a certificate and/or associate degree throughout UNM- Valencia Campus; 2) result in credit hour transferable to a four-year institution;
