Project Description The Wildlife Law News Quarterly and Weekly Alerts evolved in response to a need for state fish and wildlife agencies, attorneys, environmental groups and others to stay apprised of the very latest state, federal, and international developments in the fast-changing field of wildlife law and policy. The project allows subscribers to obtain, on a weekly basis, the latest case law, federal regulations, attorney generals opinions, and other important policy developments. The Wildlife Law News Quarterly is published each quarter in online and hard copy print format, and has been in publication since 1993. The Wildlife Law News Quarterly and the Wildlife Law News Weekly Alerts are both publications that report the latest developments in wildlife law and policy. This includes developments from state, federal and Candian courts, federal government, attorneys general, international courts and other sources. The Quarterly is published in hard copy every three months, and the Weekly Alerts are provided to online to a listserv of subscribers. Subscribers include state fish and wildlife agencies and their attorneys, institutions of higher education, non-governmental organizations, and others. The project was developed at the request of the Legal Committee of the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies in 1992, in order to provide the latest developments in wildlife law and policy to attorneys, policy makers, biologists and others who deal with wildlife issues. Eligibility Any interested person or organization is invited to subscribe to these publications. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
