The Creative Writing Program (MFA students and Creative Writing faculty)will offer writing workshops at the Youth Development and Diagnostic Center. The Creative Writing Program believes that connecting delinquent youth with strong adult role models can help guide their future in a more positive direction.

MFA students and interested faculty will offer regular writing workshops to incarcerated youth interested in writing poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. We also help to provide connections for youth transitioning back into their communities following their time at YDDC.
