Additional purposes are the promotion of mental and physical health through exercise, and the promotion of energy consciousness and volunteerism.EPC seeks to provide better care for Albuquerque's indigent, thus decompressing the UNM ED, thus speeding and improving care for the general public and also helping the hospital to receive greater reimbursement. EPC also seeks to help newly sober individuals to reintegrate into the community, and encourages exercise and volunteerism as means of therapy. 1.
