Project Description
Completion of GED in both English and Spanish.
Improvement of basic skills, employability skills, English language acquisition for speakers of other languages, citizenship preparation, civic education and involvement.Students are assessed to determine their starting level in reading and/or math. An individual intake is conducted to assist students to chose their educational path and set goals. An individual schedule of classes, tutoring, study group, or computer based instruction is developed with the student that will meet the student's lifestyle needs. An orientation is scheduled during which the GED education and testing process is explained as well as program structure. Students take only those classes needed according to their needs.This program was developed to assist adults in preparation for employment or meeting of their stated goals in education up to the 12th grade. In addition we assist students to learn English so that they can obtain employment, retain employment or achieve better employment or meet their own goals.
 
Eligibility
Students under 18 must have parental approval and high school release. Other than those students, there are no restrictions. Any student wishing the educational services may request them. There is no fee or documentation needed.
